DMA423-Rebranding-Mary and Lambs

Here are some sketchs I used for logo brainstorming.

First of all, I had no idea what’s this company about. So I decided to start with its brand outline. Pointed out some important words I thougt, then tried to draw related images of those words. It did help me to come up with some ideas later.

The Elements of the Brand Foundation

Core Purpose

Mary and Lambs is a small company producing organic wool in Australia.

Vision

Mary and Lambs is an organic wool company which focuses on raising new lambs, production techniques and processing technologies. Also Mary and Lambs cares animal welfare as well as livestock health. In addition, it plays an active role in local community and sponsoring local terms.

Mission

Mary and Lambs has its own in-house training system covering all aspects of the business, in order to provide natural organic fibres, also dedicates to inform how significant it is.

Values

Mary and Lambs main values are:

1. Animal health and welfare
2. Industry education and RD&E
3. Strategic planning for the wool industry
4. Promoting the benefits of the wool industry

Position

Mary and Lambs is an environmental friendly company which not only produces organic wool but also cares much about animal welfare as well as livestock health.

Positioning Statement

The best statement described Mary and Lambs is :” Life is beautiful”. This explains clearly their proper animal treatment,  environmental sustainable development, and promoting long-term organic wool.

Character

Mary and Lambs is a down-to-earth creative company that looking to become more known in all industries, also maintaining their visions.

 

Final Logo

This is the final logo I designed.

Mary and Lambs is a small company producing organic wool in Australia.
Refering to wool, the best association with it is sheep. The main shape of the logo is based on it.
With a happy human face is to show company’s core value: Animal health and welfare.
Organic product is company’s focus point, and bottom of the logo is related to it.

Every colour I used is soft, in order to connect the company in customers’ mind.
